Indie Game Utopia is a gaming community I am very fond of. IGU just wrapped up their summer game jam and the winner is Ema la Yon with the entry of Gayyde! I had the enjoyable opportunity of interviewing the team. Gayyde by Ema la Yon The team of AUREXLEMANDARIN and Ema la Yon both made this game, described as a colorful platformer that uses gravity as the main mechanic. Since developers were only allowed to use a pallete consisting of colors from a pride flag, this game features a palette from lesbian pride. When asked if the game was pride based, this was Ema la Yon's answer: "I wouldn't really call it 'pride based' per say. Although it features the lesbian pride flag as the palette, which is one of my flags and one of my prides, the game hasn't got an actual lesbian story/subtext. I would have liked to but I didn't have time to conceptualize it, especially since I lack the experience." Or simply... "hitting boxes and playing around with gra

The disclaimer to this post is that this game is still in an early level design phase. With that said, I got to test the demo. Since it is early I didn't know how good it would be but I am fairly surprised and proud to say I enjoy it so far! The major plus I enjoyed was the physics, they make the game challenging but not too challenging. I can see how frustrating this game can be since the physics are very responsive. I heard the game gets constant updates as of now, try it out! Happy Foods by NitroAtari

As a platformer, this is a fairly difficult game. Even once you get a hang of the mechanics of the game, one mistake can mess you up! Take the countless mistakes that I have made as proof of this. This is the type of game you want to keep playing though, and your eventual success feels amazing! Deep Down 2 by Nyunesu, EnriqueWR, BroduxBlue, Diemorth

Catsperince is a game that shows you just how difficult it can is to be a cat and have a human servant to bring you food. The catch is, that human servant has gone missing. Fear not because with magical catnip you can do anything your feline heart desires!! In Catsperience there are puzzles to solve, riddles to be...riddled and laughter to be had. Here are some screenshots of the game: Catsperience is being developed by Black Vertigo and in all honesty one of my favorite parts of learning about this game was the inspiration for the concept. The game is made in memory of the developers' first, very naughty, tomcat named Lord Mordant. I will let the trailer speak for itself, keep in mind that this is a naughty cat and you should be expecting at times some naughty humor. 8.7.3

CreatorCrate!
Hello everyone, I hope you are enjoying your day! Today I have a promising game to showcase to all of you. This game is in a early development stage so be warned that it will naturally contain bugs and glitches until the final release which is confirmed to be sometime in 2020 (which is relatively near). The developer gave me a key for the closed pre-alpha of the game, which I am beyond grateful for. Unfortunately, the game is not in a stage where it is ready to release, but you can always put the game on your steam wishlist, follow the developer on one of her many social media accounts or bookmark the webpage for the game! In addition to a game key for personal use, she also gave me plenty of press resources to share with all of you! So, without further delay, allow us to delve into the details of the game: Developer Provided Write-up on Her Game "CreatorCrate: Reproduce your way to freedom A 2.5D physics platformer on a procedurally generated space station".
Claire's First Minecraft Post.
People have been making storage systems for years. But there is only really one used. Why is that? It just works. The one I am going to show you is simple enough to make the only limiting factor iron. At this point in Minecraft who are we kidding, you have an iron farm already. If you do not you will soon. Follow this simple tutorial and you can have an infinitely expandable system. Step one is simple enough: find the space for it. For this I'm going to show it all in a super flat world to make it easier for you to follow. Step two: The first layers are just chests and hoppers. I am making this one five chests high but you could make yours as little as one chest or go all the way to world height! There are two ways to place the chest or chests, way one is with all the hoppers in the back, this is ok but once the bottom chest is empty its empty till more items are added. The second way is alternating the chests and hoppers. This is better because items will always flow down keepi
